Phase 2 of our lower playground improvements

This summer, our school undertook a significant project to resurface the lower playground, thanks to the support of our dedicated PTA. The aim was to create a safer and more engaging environment for our boys.

During the recent half-term break, vibrant new markings were added, bringing the playground to life with fun trails, games, and activities. One of the highlights is the new seating area outside our Reception classroom, which enhances our community space, while the area around the beloved pirate ship has been expanded for more imaginative play.

Loyola lower playgroundSafety was a top priority throughout this project, ensuring a fun and secure space for active play. This transformation not only revitalises our playground but also supports the belief that play is essential for childhood development.

We look forward to seeing the boy's first reactions to their newly enhanced playground!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the PTA and all the parents for their continued support in funding our playground project. Their generosity and involvement make a tremendous difference to our school community. It's important to note that all money raised goes directly back into the school, enhancing our boys' experiences. If you're interested in getting involved with the PTA, there are many ways to contribute—whether it's volunteering your time, signing up for easy funding, checking if your company offers match funding, donating raffle prizes, or simply attending our events. Every little bit helps, and together we can continue to create enriching experiences for our children!
