¡Hola a todos! I am extremely passionate about Spanish and the Hispanic World and I am greatly enjoying imparting this knowledge and enthusiasm for both language and culture to all the boys in Loyola Prep School. I incorporate Hispanic culture in my lessons through references, images, film and music as I believe this to be a crucial part of language teaching and learning. This inevitably sparks the pupils’ curiosity and leads them to conduct further independent research. I believe positivity and joy should be at the heart of languages learning and enjoy weaving this ethos into my lessons by using role-play, games, technology and art to maximise engagement and enjoyment from the boys.
