Members of our Scholar and Choir had the privilege of joining other local schools for a night filled with beautiful songs and music. Our boys had a wonderful time, and it was made even more special with one of our parents performing in the orchestra!

The PTA recently organized several wonderful Lunch with Your Son days allowing parents, grandparents, and carers to come in and enjoy lunch with their sons and it was a huge success. The boys really enjoyed sharing a piece of their school life with their families, and it was a lovely reminder of the strong community we have here at Loyola Prep. Moments like these make our school even more special

Congratulations to our U11 Blue football teams for their impressive performances against Forest School last Friday. The A team battled to a well-earned 1-1 draw in a fiercely contested match, while the B team secured a fantastic 7-3 victory with outstanding goals and solid defending. Well done to all the players and thank you to Forest for hosting

We had a fantastic time taking part in NSPCC Number Day today. The boys proudly wore clothing with numbers on and enjoyed a variety of fun maths activities and games throughout the day. All donations will go towards supporting the incredible work of the NSPCC, including vital services like 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' and Childline. It was a day full of numbers and awareness @nspcc_official #nspccnumberday

Last week, our School Council came together to plan for Children's Mental Health Week. With this year's theme, "Know Yourself, Grow Yourself", in mind, the boys chose the sunflower as the happiest flower of all! And thanks to the generous donation from Writtle Sunflowers, they created special sunflower parcels for each boy, which were handed out during Wellbeing Sessions led by Miss Laura on Monday. To celebrate the week, the boys also dressed up in something that makes them happy, spreading positivity and joy throughout the school! #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek @Place2Be

Dragons' Den comes to Rudiments! Today, our Rudiments boys stepped into the business world as they pitched their enterprises to our very own Dragons – Mr. Ashbrook, Mrs. Nwofor, and Mrs. Lawless! The pressure was on as they battled for investment, showcasing innovative products, strong profit projections, and persuasive pitches. This exciting project helps develop their understanding of different careers, the costs of designing and making products, and how they can become more enterprising. In the end, every group secured investment – a great day in the office! The boys will now get the chance to sell their products to the rest of the school on Thursday, 13th February and we can't wait to see their hard work pay off.

We had a fantastic time celebrating Chinese New Year this week. Our Chinese-inspired lunch on Thursday was a hit, and EYFS enjoyed lots of festive activitiesincluding a spectacular dragon dance that brought luck to everyone who saw it
